Hey there. The majority of this post is going to be a review of the Irresistible Me Diamond flat iron & some ootd photos later.

So this flat iron comes in a neat box like this. I particularly liked that it closes with a magnet.

And the iron itself looks like this. It's very comfortable to use, it has so-called cool tips, so you can hold on to the tips of iron without getting burned. Also the buttons are on the inside, so you won't accidentally change the settings.

My messy hair before straightening. I actually like my hair like this and most of the time I will just leave it like that and add some leave-in conditioner or hair oils, so it wouldn't look so dry.

And yes, I know I have really damaged my hair with bleaching it... I am trying to grow the blonde out and my hair is getting healthier every day.

NB! If you're from Europe, you have to get an adapter for the electric plug... That was pretty much the only bummer.

Which look do you like best? I actually think I look older with sleekier hair o_O

How light leaks into warm puddles of sun

I had a wonderful privilege today to be in front of the camera and wear beautiful clothes by Estonian designers. Unfortunately I can't say more about it at this moment, but maybe soon...
These pictures were taken on my way home and once again, almost everything I wear is from thrift stores. I got this blouse for 3€ just this week. It looks a bit tacky and has that resplendent Slavic festive vibe (or 80s glam thing) going on... But I kind of like items that are on the borderline of good and bad taste. No jewellery - that's a must.

 If anyone who happens to read this has experience with growing out dyed hair, you can let me know... I've been thinking about growing my natural, dark brown colour out, because I really miss my thick, strong, shiny hair... I've been blonde for 5 years now (?) and I haven't seen my own colour for 12 years I think. But the whole process seems so terrifying... I will have to dye my hair in full length - another thing I haven't done for years - and hope that I picked the right tone that matches my own. Seems like a such a huge step...

 Sorry for the bleak surroundings... I keep missing the sunshine when I take pictures these days...

So, here is the very gray early spring, with gray bare trees and I'm wearing gray. And silver. I don't know if the V-shaped necklace was an unconscious Freudian choice, because I just saw both volumes of Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac and I absolutely loved the film. I always enjoy his dark themes and how he integrates music theory, literature, religion and even fishing to his films... I am not utterly fond of all the hints and references he makes, but in general I can say that he is one of those filmmakers whose work talks to me and he definitely is one of the most talented directors of our time, like him or not.

Anxiety of the spectacle

I haven't posted here for a while so here's an update to drink with some spicy tea and wintersun...

I've been concentrating on other things instead of taking pictures of what I wear... and to be honest, I am more than content with that. Most of my time goes on learning, reading, watching films and conversing with inspirational people. Regarding to my appearance, I still care very much about how I look, but now it is quality rather than quantity. I try to find unique and timeless items made of quality fabrics instead of cheap fashion. And it might sound strange, but I try to find those things from thrift stores. Coming across things like genuine leather boots, 100% wool sweaters and silk blouses in thrift stores... and getting them just for a few euros... Doesn't happen every time, but still, it's like a miracle when it does.

On other news, I have launched a new blog, which is only focused on my own personal photography, take a look at it HERE. This will be a decent portion of the imagery I see and digest on a daily basis.

I am more than happy to leave the year 2013 and start anew. I have a few goals this year that I definitely want to achieve and I'm full of motivation.

And about today... A wonderful winter day with some sun. I haven't even seen actual daylight for a while and now all the shine and glisten... crazy.
